USA Fair 2012 and the late Princess Bejaratana Rajasuda's Royal Crematorium

I attended the recently held USA Fair at Central World. The fair showcased the best of US products and services. There were also games  and contests for visitors with a chance to win free flight to US aboard United!

Happy Birthday to our dear Ate Myrna

It's April once again, a time when ate Myrna celebrates her birthday with a big feast. Her request was any cake but chocolate. Well, it's about time she serve a different cake to her guests. I suggested cheesecake. It tastes so amazing and quick to prepare. She gave me the green light.

Vietnam Revisited - All About Food

A stroll in the city gave us the opportunity to discover Vietnam's culinary delights. And since the country is a bustling destination for  foreign business people and tourists alike, fast food culture  is rapidly emerging.

Here we were walking along Pham Ngu Lao, a busy backpacker district in Ho Chi Minh. The area caters to budget travelers, similar to Bangkok's Khao San Road.

On the second day of our Vietnam adventure, we set out to explore  the neighboring provinces of Tien Giang and Ben Tre.

Vietnam Revisited - Reunification Palace

We continued our walk down Nam Ky Khoi NgHia to the old  Reunification Palace, home and workplace of South Vietnam's President during the war. The palace was the site of Saigon's downfall that lead to the end of Vietnam War.
